Cloudbreak
Branding/Packaging Project

San Jose, California

Cloudbreak is a wellness brand specializing in medical-grade CBD products designed to support a wide range of health conditions. Alongside the product line, Cloudbreak features a companion mobile app that enables users to track pain levels and medication intake, providing a personalized data log of their progress while using the products.

I led the visual development for the brand, overseeing all design work from initial concept sketches to final execution. My responsibilities included crafting the visual identity—logo design, brand patterns, marketing collateral, and responsive web design. I also collaborated with a developer to design the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) for the iOS and Android mobile app.

Primary Colors and Fonts.

I created a color pallet to help interface developers maintain consistency across all of the brand items, including the website. .

Packaging.

This packaging is designed to target the medical market. Cloudbreak decided to incorporate traditional aspects of medicine by providing a pharmaceutical feel, rather than a recreational cannabis product.

Alternate Packaging.

Targeted toward the recreational cannabis market, this package design was produced specifically to be displayed in cannabis clubs. This product is designed to aid in many ailments such as muscle pain, nausea, arthritis etc. whilst providing either energy or sleep aid. Cloudbreak will eventually make multiple products.

Application.

When you create a visual identity for a product, you should always think how to apply the visual language to all system components including; the website, iOS or Android application, marketing emails, etc. Fortunately, I designed the UX and UI for the Cloudbreak application and website, which gave me the chance to ensure that all design elements worked consistently and were aligned correctly.

App Signup Navigation.

There were over 60 art boards that completed the Cloudbreak app. Here are the first few to show the signup process.
